We all face challenging circumstances, relational pain, and encounter seasonal storms in our lives. Everyone needs help at some time or another. Heartland Care Ministry is available to bring help and hope in a variety of ways, so that you know that you are not alone.
Read below to discover how Heartland is available to support you.
One to One is a ministry that is provided by trained, caring, volunteers who meet with individuals going through a variety of circumstances to provide care, support, a listening ear and prayer. Each of the volunteers have responded to Christ’s call to “carry each others’ burdens”.
Our Mission Statement: We exist to provide intentional one to one care through Christ-like compassion.
Selected “Care Givers” are currently receiving training and will be available to “Care Receivers” in January of 2020.
The prayer team exists to pray for the needs of others. Simply submit a request and each week the Prayer Team receives the request and has committed to praying for you.
The Meals Ministry is a way that we can be a blessing to Heartland families in a time of need (i.e. birth, hospital stay, illness, death in the family, etc.) The desire of this ministry is to glorify God by exercising our gifts of mercy, hospitality, compassion and outreach.
Simply sign up and you will be added to the e-mail list to receive invitations to participate in a meal registry for families as the need arises. There is no pressure to take a meal when you receive the invitations, just when it works for you to participate.
We know and understand that people go through challenging times financially. Our desire is to come around those in our church family that find themselves in financial hardship and bring support, guidance and resources.
