"I was raised in the church but as I grew up my religion wasn’t as important as the other things. I started attending 608, the first time I went I felt like that was where I belonged. Sense then I have only gotten more into my faith."

- Ella (7th Grader)

"608 has definitely brought me closer to Christ, making me see things in a way that makes sense to someone my age."

- Samantha (8th Grader)

" I always believed in God but in 6th grade started going to 608 and enjoyed learning more about my own relationship with faith."

- Lucy (8th Grader)

Who We Are

Within 608, we strive to surround youth with an unconditional love that fosters genuine relationships, anchor them in the joys and traditions of the Christian faith, and energize and equip them to extend the love of Christ within their own communities and beyond.

Our heart is simple: to awaken a diverse community to know Jesus, experience His love, and discover the heart of God — a heart that is full of grace, truth, and unconditional love. At 608, we don’t just talk about God’s love — we live it out, together.

What We Do

At 608, we create space for high school students to be known, valued, and challenged to grow. Through high-energy games, relevant teachings, and real conversations in small groups, we build authentic relationships that point to the love of Jesus. We gather weekly — and beyond — to live life together, grow in faith, and experience a community marked by grace, honesty, and belonging. Everything we do is about helping students know Jesus, experience His presence, and embrace the heart of God for themselves and others.

What's Different

At 608, we do more than just gather — we build a culture where every student is seen, known, and valued. We prioritize authentic relationships over hype, honest conversations over surface-level moments, and a deep experience of Jesus over just checking the box. We don’t just meet once a week — we live life together.

With a mix of wacky fun, meaningful teachings, and a commitment to showing God’s unconditional love, 608 is a place where students don’t have to perform to belong — they already do.

Whether you’ve grown up in church or are just curious about faith, there’s a place for you here!

Does our family need to attend Heartland Church in order for our son or daughter to attend this youth group?
No, and that's okay! We have a number of students within our High School and Middle School Ministries who attend other churches in the area or do not attend church at all.

Here at 608 any High School students are welcome to attend. We believe in creating a space for all students to not only hear the word of God, but create a space for them to encounter Jesus through one another, leaders, experiences, teachings and small groups.

We would love to see your student join us on Thursday nights 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm.
My son or daugther is brand new to youth group. Do I need to pre-register them in order to attend?
Techinally, no. However, it is helpful to know ahead of time when a student will be joining us for a first time, so our small group leaders can be aware and can look out for them when they arrive.

Ways to notify us of your students arrival is by filling out the 608 Connect Card and the New Student information Card. The 608 connect card is used as a form of communication to send monthly emails, updates, etc. about All Things 608. As for the New Student Information Card, by filling out the information, we will have access to your students emergency contact.

You are more than welcome to email Jake Fry (jake@heartlandsunprairie.com) and Jordyn Doll (jordyn@heartlandsunprairie.com) as well. We are always here to assist you with anything you need!
Does my son or daughter need to bring anything to youth group?
Just a willingness to meet new people and anticipation to experience a night full of fun.

However, if your student has their own bible, encourage them to bring it. Many students bring their bibles to highlight/mark-up/use during teachings, as well as, use during small group time.

If they do not have a bible, it does not hinder their experience. We can help in providing bibles too.

EXPERIENCES BEYOND
OUR WALLS

Imagine your student experincing opportunites that go beyond Wednesday nights where they will be able to reach, grow or go. As a ministry we do not want 608 to only be once a week, we want 608 to become part of your students life filled with excitment and anticipation.

God doesn't just move one day during the week, we believe He is constantly moving around and within students and leaders as a vessel for his workings in 608. Therefore, we want to put together opporntiniues for your student(s) to gather and experience all the ways God can show up.

From Summer Camps, Winter and Fall Retreats, Bible Studies, Passion Camp 2026 and more, students are invited to particapte and invite their friends. God is limitless and can use these experiences for his Glory.
